Google will soon attempt to give direct results to your search queries, instead of merely directing you to a site that contains the answer. Google already does this with some basic questions. Try typing in time in Prague for instance. The first result will be the answer to your query.

Of course, Google won't attempt to answer higher order questions like What is the meaning of life? This modification will seek to tackle the more basic queries. However, lists and basic facts will probably be covered. If you type an author's name, a list of their titles is likely to appear as a top result. Ask for the height of Mount Kilimanjaro, ditto.
Quicker, more concise info for you; less traffic for sites that provide such basic info.
